Grants and Loans
This new stream offers grants of up to $15,000 to develop a digital adoption plan, as well as interest-free loans of up to $100,000 from the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) for the implementation of the plan. In addition, it offers up to $7,300 to hire a qualified young person to implement the technologies. For more details on the BDC loan, visit BDC Loan .
To be eligible, your business must be Canadian-owned, for-profit or a cooperative, with an annual turnover of at least $500,000, but not more than $100 million.
How to participate?
Step 1: Create your Account
Start by creating a PCAN account. You can use your email address, GCKey, or the Interac service. See Create an account to get started.
Step 2: Confirm your Eligibility
Use your My Business Account credentials from the Canada Revenue Agency to confirm the eligibility of your business.
Step 3: Develop a Digital Transformation Plan
After signing the grant agreement, work with a digital advisor to develop your digital adoption plan.
Step 4: Submit your Grant Application
Finalize your digital adoption plan and submit your grant application.

Evaluate your company's current use of technology and determine your operational needs.
